For real estate to be a better industry, sales and rentals should be facilitated by state governments. The only functional aspect of being a real estate agent is showing up for an open home, unlocking the door and then locking it afterwards. The entire real estate industry is geared towards taking the most possible $$ from the buyer and giving it to the seller using dishonest tactics - this is not the function of any other market; the stock market, new/used cars, etc. Good on you Tom for calling out agents for promoting themselves rather than the listing.
